Serve With Us

God has given each person gifts to be used for the building up of the church and the blessing of the community. At New Hope, serving is one of the ways we live out our faith, support the work of ministry, and participate in what God is doing through the church.

Governance and Ministry Leadership

At New Hope United Methodist Church, serving is connected to both ministry and leadership. Our work is guided through prayerful leadership, faithful stewardship, and shared responsibility as we seek to strengthen the church and serve our community.

Our church governance structure helps provide direction, accountability, and support for the mission and ministry of New Hope.

Church Council

The Church Council provides spiritual and administrative leadership for the life of the church. This body helps guide the overall mission, ministry, planning, and direction of New Hope in alignment with our vision and the mission of The United Methodist Church.

Church Council Chairperson: Corethia Johnson

Serve With Us

Whether you are interested in hospitality, outreach, care, worship, children and youth, media, administration, or leadership, there is a place for you to serve at New Hope.

God has given each person gifts to be used for the building up of the church and the blessing of the community. Serving is one of the ways we live out our faith, support the work of ministry, and participate in what God is doing through the church.

Serve Interest Form

If you are interested in serving in a ministry at New Hope, please complete the Serve Interest Form below. This form helps us learn more about your interests, gifts, and the areas where you may be willing to serve.

Completing this form does not automatically place someone in a ministry role. It helps church leadership prayerfully review your interests and connect you with ministry opportunities based on the needs of the church.

Leadership Nomination Form

As we prepare for the upcoming leadership cycle, members are invited to submit nominations for church leadership. This form may be used to nominate another member or to express your own interest in serving in a leadership role.
Leadership nominations help the church prayerfully identify persons who may be called and equipped to serve in areas of leadership, ministry, administration, and congregational support.

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee placement in a leadership role. All nominations will be reviewed through the appropriate church leadership process.
