Funerals and Burials

New Hope United Methodist Church seeks to walk with families during times of grief, loss, and remembrance. A funeral or burial service is a sacred time to give thanks for a loved one’s life, commend them to God’s care, and surround the family with prayer, comfort, and Christian hope.

If you are requesting to schedule a funeral, memorial service, burial, or church facility use, please contact the Church Business Administrator

The Business Administrator will assist with scheduling, church use questions, facility coordination, and next steps.

The current Pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church will be considered first for funeral services and the preaching of the homily before another preacher or officiant is requested. Any additional clergy participation should be discussed with the Pastor and church leadership as part of the planning process.
